Just disregard my questions on the other thread. You answered everything here.

The system prices on Price Watch are close to what I can build them for, until I start playing with details like brand of motherboard, bus speed, video card, disk size, cd writing speed, etc. With these changes there is money to be saved, but that's not my main consideration. I read so many horror stories about systems not booting, motherboards arriving split in two, and most troubling, slow and indifferent handling of the warranty service with vendor after vendor at the resellers.com web site. If the system doesn't come as advertised or does not work, it sounds like a worse nightmare trying to resolve the problem than having to deal with problems of one's own making.

The Resellers comments could paint a less than accurate picture of the majority of transactions. I'll check the rating for Explorer Micro.
