Hi Chip,
I am not an excel expert by any stretch,
but can you add a column next to the one you need switched,
then use a formula to multiply by -1 so the result is the
opposite sign....

Example here shows the formula contained in Col B
A B
1 1234 =A1*-1
2 4354 =A2*-1
3 -598 =A3*-1

Colum B would look like this

1 -1234
2 -4354
3 598

I base this on the old math that any number
multiplied by a neg results in a sign change.

Now a real expert, SE will tell us both how to
do it easier.....:)
