<WiLL meet inconclusive, decision by April 30
SAHAD P. V.
New Delhi, April 16, 18:07
The group on telecom and IT convergence (GOT-IT), which met on Monday to take a view on the controversial issue of limited mobility, postponed its decision and agreed to hold another meeting soon.

Emerging after a 3-hour long meeting, Information Technology Minister Pramod Mahajan said GOT-IT would keep its deadline of April 30 for finalising the report on the limited mobility service based on the wireless in local loop (WiLL) technology.

If India has finally 'GOT IT', we are going to witness something at least as impressive as China's development over the past 20 years. India has probably [a guess] got more young people than China, and people are still the best thing on the planet when they are turned loose.

India already has democracy and a long history of civilization.

Maybe India is going to be the main country of the 21st century. They have tried poverty and blaming the Poms for long enough, [while perversely copying the worst of British ideas = red tape, bureaucracy and Marxism]. Maybe they'll ditch all that mess and turn capitalism, technology and IT loose on an economy and people opened to the world. Singapore is an example of how far and how fast a country's economic position can improve.

If India 'GETS IT', they have got the most powerful symbiosis of the 21st century.

Go India Go. [GIG]

Life's a giggle and the markets have been a LOT of fun lately.
