Spin doctoring? What are you talking about? I live in Houston. We moved here from San Francisco. We drove - when we got to El Paso my wife thought we were almost there but we were not even half-way. It is a comment on how big Texas is. I don't know if that qualifies as a joke but it's closer than what you posted, whatever you were trying to say...
