I've fished - and that didn't turn me off to fish. I've never hunted but I've helped butcher animals that were hunted - and that didn't turn me off to meat. My cats kill birds and rodents before my eyes, and I don't hate my cats. Just had one come into the house with a still living chipmunk - I just shooed him out - the cat - with the chipmunk. Not sure whether you mean watching animals being killed - I think if you eat meat you need to come to terms with the fact that the meat comes from dead animals who enjoyed being alive and did not want to die. Kosher meat and halal meat is killed more humanely and in more sanitary conditions than the ordinary slaughterhouse.
