That's A Tuff One James.

Two ways of looking at it.If there is no investment,they starve.If
there is investment and mines are opened they are treated unfairly
in a very tuff enviroment.There is abuse and torture everywhere,it
just happens to come in less sophisticated discuises in Third World
countries,and especially one's propped up by international interests.

Peru is no better or worse than many from what I can find out.That
doesn't say it's right,that says it will take prosperity to make
change and mining is one of those avenues countries like Peru have.
Remember..the poorer the people...the more human rights infringements
and less freedom of speech and movement.It is a tuff one,isn't it.Kind
of a no win situation from this perspective.

As far as unscrupulous mining companies and this thread,man it looks
like a rough business.Lots of bad news people play this game,but there
are a few good ones too.The problem is regulation,or lack there of.
I am in disbelief at times when I hear and witness first hand the
scullduggery and goings on from the top on down.Abuse and torture?It's
right here James,in the eyes,hearts and pocketbooks of the investors
who have put their hard earned money behind some of these so called
entrepreneurs.If anything should die or be rightfully brought to
justice,it's those self indulging penny listings we've all come to
hate.I guess the best some can do is avoid avoid avoid and do your DD
first,but this too is no guarantee,just helps the odds.Good luck
