JIM:

KANA: Is up 22% today. They reported a 100% increase in revenues, but an staggering increase in their net loss, albeit they claimed it was due to "non-cash charges".<g>

"For the three months ended 3/31/01, revenues totaled $24.2 million, up from $10.7 million. Net loss totaled $752.9 million, up from $14.4 million. Results reflect the addition of new customers, offset by non-cash charges."

Yesterday they reported a deal with Sony:

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., May 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Sony Online Entertainment has dramatically improved customer service using technology from Kana Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: KANA - news) to strengthen relationships with its 10 million online entertainment consumers. With Kana's Web-architected enterprise relationship management (eRM) technology, Sony Online Entertainment agents now respond to customer queries in less than 24 hours.

I have been reluctant to try to take any part on the action due to they reported loss.<g>
