I remember when I first saw the word "basher". It was coming from some penny stock tout. Then a bunch of penny stock aficionados picked it up and one year later, it's in the lexicon!

I am still amazed, after all these years, and after seeing countless penny stock scams come and go, that people still buy penny stocks. I have met two guys in my entire life that were actual penny stock traders. One was a real pro; a real sharp guy. He lost all his money. Every penny he had. A large amount of money.

The other guy was the owner of a restaurant and knew almost nothing about the stock market. He was trading fast and furious off a computer in his office at his restaurant. When I saw what he was doing, I didn't even bother to get into it with him. He lost all his money. Every penny he had. A large amount of money.
