Rabbit, I enjoy jokes as much as the next guy. Let me share this thought with you - as you now, the internet is frequent by international participants - Europeans, Middle Easterners, Latinos... Nepalis. When we joked about the tragic deaths of others, it puts us in a bad light even though what was said was meant nothing more than for laughs. They might even go as far as seeing us as being contemptuous - as Ugly Americans. As Americans, we have done many things right and we don't want non-Americans to think that we practice a double standard - we memoralized our dead while we poked fun at theirs.
