Big Picture Technologies has entered into the first stage of an alliance
with Telus. In support of its previously announced objective to acquire
small business e-commerce customers from ailing dot-coms, this alliance
will see Big Picture enter into a three-year hosting services agreement
with Telus, wherein the telecommunications company will provide fully
managed Internet hosting solutions for all of Big Picture's products and
services. This agreement will enable Big Picture to pursue multiple
customer acquisition targets and focus on its core business without having
to overcome technology, capital investment, and staffing obstacles arising
from its anticipated substantial growth.

and chief executive officer for Big Picture Technologies. "This hosting
agreement is a key piece of the puzzle for us in our acquisition strategy.
It provides significant savings, which will flow directly to Big Picture's
bottom line. It also gives us the reliability, scalability and depth that
we need to grow while providing excellent service to our customers. We are
excited about the potential of this alliance."
Big Picture's hosting requirements will be serviced out of Telus's new
intelligent Internet data centre in Calgary, Alta. This world-class
facility is scheduled to launch early in July and Big Picture will be among
the inaugural clients to take advantage of Telus's dedication to hosting
services.

agreement is only the first stage of a burgeoning relationship between Big
Picture and Telus. The next phase of the alliance, to be finalized later
this month, will include joint marketing and sales initiatives.
