~protoge: Thanks for the Brazil/Argentina articles... The problems down there could result in another round of U.S. banks restructuring loans out several more years... This keeps the loans on the balance sheet as receivables but it's misleading because no revenues will be coming in from these loans for quite a while... This will hit the bank's bottom line... The dollar will rise and our trade deficit will rise because the cost of American goods in these countries will have gone up... Look for the G7 to try and do something here... Jim
