Jim & all, what do you make of the numbers out from DELL? Also, in my
seat of the pants economic indicator, the place I had lunch at today had a total
of 21 people for lunch, normally they average 150.
I stopped at a Sears hardware to pick up some locks (30% off sale on Master locks,
which are no longer >assembled< in Milwaukee, now made in Mexico)
I was one of 3 shoppers, vs 9 store people, and they were totally bored.
Been like that since the middle of July they tell me.
On the way out, I ran into the local UPS driver, and of course asked him how busy was he?
His reply, spotty, busy on Monday & Friday, the rest of the week, kinda slow.
