A 50% move by the S&P 500 by the end of 2002?... I'll have a little of what they're smoking... : >

I went back to the early 90's recession and noticed that the S&P took 2 years to move 38% off its lows (300 to 415)... That recession didn't impact the markets as hard as the current stealth recession... My guess is we'd be doing pretty good to get back to the 1500 area by the end of 2002... That would be about a 29% move from here... Those who think they'll be seeing annual 20% to 30% gains we'll be disappointed...
