Now then....about every three or four months, Forbes does some kind of update on IPO performance. If you have some research time, check out the back issues. They perform their work based upon which underwriter is doing the best job of bringing new stocks to market. I used to archive all of this but threw it away when I moved...then of course, I find the net, you and people who want to share some of the stuff....end of thought. Well, it looks like we almost made it to my big 200+ crash point on Friday. Volume was light and I don't think this was the "thing" I was looking for....HOWEVER, gold did seem to move...had I mentioned this impending correlation before? Certainly not an original thought, but I do think that this time we will trend that way big time.....Tungsten? Now get ready to go long on the Swiss Franc and the DM. By the way did you happen to notice the OECD report on economic growth? They placed Canada #1 for 96-97, in the 3.4-3.7 range. All other G-7 countries were placed below 2%. I'm seriously looking for a $.80 CDN dollar by the end of 1997. Look to some 6 month old IPO's up there for a real charge. Ziggy is in the garage today and has not ventured beyond. Tomorrow's DJ move should help me to translate his moves. By the way, I have been given box seats to the Orioles-Blue Jays game on the 17th. Now according to your theory, I don't care who wins, I just want them to score over 9 runs combined...right? Actually, I don't care about baseball, I just go when Toronto comes to town so I can watch some inner-city glee club try to sing the CDN national anthem. Now that's entertainment. |
