Take a look at the difference between the NYSE and Nasdaq in the Advance/Decliners and the New Highs/Lows. Quite a difference.

Also, on the Nasdaq, I think that we could see the new lows outnumber new Highs for a time through the bottom. There are simply to many stocks on the Nasdaq that are going out of style and are bad investment ideas (Still). I bet there will be a rotation out of the ones that are losers into the few that are winners and so you would still see the Lows outnumbering the Highs. I have to believe that the first part of any rally in the Nasdaq will be carried on the shoulders of few. This of course will happen until the confidence in the market returns and everyone is soooo confident that the bottom has been reached and the only way left to go is up.
