I think that we could see the new lows outnumber new Highs for a time through the bottom. There are simply to many stocks on the Nasdaq that are going out of style and are bad investment ideas (Still). I bet there will be a rotation out of the ones that are losers into the few that are winners and so you would still see the Lows outnumbering the Highs. FT: Good analysis of why you can have more Lows than Highs but still have a rising market... It makes sense... But, I'd feel better if those New Lows were significantly under 100... Jim
