William: As we've been discussing over the months, the layoffs are coming home to roost... The revised 2nd Qtr GDP to .2% opens up the floodgate of questions concerning the next GDP report... The trend has been down... Yesterday the Consumer Confidence numbers hinted at what we'd see today in the GDP revision... The layoffs yet to be actualized takes us into a holiday season that may not be so jolly... As you pointed out, the tax selling could be fierce between September and November... That should set up a good technical rally going into the new year... The Nasdaq is getting close to the recent 1817 low...
