Grasshopper-- The OECD report you mentioned had me baffled. I assume the truth of the equation: opinions/economists= 1. And here we have a whole gaggle of economists coming to a single conclusion (that does not match my take on Canada). Then it hit me. Pow, right between the eyes. These Whizbrains don't get paid until they produce a report. What it states doesn't matter. In the unlikely event anyone remembers what they projected, theres plenty of economistspeak to justify the events. And besides, that's a whole 'nuther report to get paid for. I think Peter Lynch had it right when said if all the economists were laid end to end, it wouldn't be a bad thing. Perhaps I shouldn't be so harsh... but I think listening to Ziggy-dog would produce results no worse than any given econo-pro. Still lookin for the Forbe's. Ain't easy to find out here in the sticks.
