On the fundamentals, do note that Hitachi recently developed an e-beam machine that can draw down to 25 nanometers, is 1/4 the size of existing machines, and 1/10 the cost. The important relevance to helix is that it does not require a vacuum.

note i am not sure how long it will take to commercialize this product, or other constraints, but it is something to be aware of.
