Thinking about your question, do they even know or do many of them only protest to be protesting? "Anti-globalism" is spoken by many of them more as a mantra than with any underlying thought.

Are some only against any progress or against some technology? With one sentence they will rail against every technological advance in banking then with the next against gold. They will speak one moment for "traditional agriculture" then the next for "animal rights" and against all ranching and dairy farms.

Are they the spawn of hippies or Hell? Many of their greatest goals fall outside our every recognized property right.
