Anti-Capitalist Protesters: What do they want, exactly?

What do the protesters want? This thread might be also be named what do protesters against multi-national corporations want? Globilization after all, is a function of multi-nationals.There seem to be so many special interest groups involved, it is difficult to sort out precisely what they seek to accomplish. If tens of thousands of persons take the time and effort to demonstrate in the streets, clashing with police.. someone, somewhere is telling a compelling story. I do not expect mainstream media to cover this subject objectively since major media are now owned by multinational corporations targeted by the protesters..(GE, News Corp. Viacom, Disney etc).
This is a venue for discussion of the issues. Reasonably presented facts and opinions are welcome. Harangues and propaganda are not.
