Original Mad Dog. Not to sure what you mean by this " Is it better that 40 million people die or that people who work hard and dedicate themselves to saving the lives of the 40 million people are compensated for their effort?"
Anyway the point I was trying to make was that we are all ruled by Bankers, corporations, Gov's. and in the case of the cancer society it also is very big business. not trying to say that they don't do real good stuff or that they should not be paid for their work just that any discoveries may not be fairly distributed to those in need. Help would be given fairly to those who can pay the price and keep the business going. So my thoughts are that the protestors are protesting the rulers who believe that fair trade should be more fair for some countries that for others.
I have noticed on TV that the protestors are not all young or all old, there seems to be a good mixture of all ages. Broad based and from all countries.
