I'm glad you asked the question. You're right that the news isn't giving us a clear picture of what this protest is about. I'm thinking that may be because the protest doesn't have a firm handle on what it's all about. It seems to be to be a loose collection of those who feel overwhelmed and disenfranchised by the scope of life today and who chafe at the loss of control . Their targets are eclectic and they're more against something than for something else. It's not surprising that their message is not clear. They don't have a unified set of demands. Perhaps the movement will evolve into something coherent. Or perhaps it will dissipate due to fragmentation. I guess we just have to wait and watch and ask questions. Karen
