I find Level II very valuable in day trading, but I never use it alone. Always watch it along with real time charts that show the broader index movement

But what do you look at when reading Level II? The big boys on the bids to go long? On the ask to go short? The depth?

It doesn't seem like your trades can be for longer than a minute on any of these type of readings.
