Please post how you read Level II. Everyone says it's a must for daytraders, but how do you tell a short term move?

To me it's just a bunch of quotes running by. I know about "depth" of the quotes but can make no sense of it.

I do like to look at when a firm upgrades/downgrades a stock to see if they are on the bid or ask all day.
