CB....THANKS!! Those are beautiful pics, and especially with the sound effects... The news he heard last night was about 10:30-10:50 PM PDT last night....I looked all over SI and INet for it, and of course nothing, nor today. My guess it was pulled...either was nothing, or because no panic needed/wanted until tests.... Hopefully, it was just a false report. I can well imagine that 40 blocks of off limits in DC will be messy....I've been there for the NATO 50th anniversary, the IMF/World Bank meetings, the Oklahoma bombing, etc....(have been there in April for several years...), and the security was TIGHT then....I can WELL imagine it is TIGHT now!!! Do you know how and if the taxi drivers are screened....??? I've been in LOTS of cabs there....and many don't really speak English, and are on cells talking to others in other languages.... Wonder if the FBI and CIA are checking the drivers....wonder if they are all citizens or at least legal immigrants?
