I have a list of "to do's" on the refrigerator, and scratch them off one at a time. Got about half of them done.

I would have got a lot more done but for 911. I've been obsessing over the news.

My new project is helping Ben think about colleges. I did not realize that this is something that starts in the 10th or 11th grade. He is in the 11th grade, got a ton of mailers from colleges based on his PSAT in 10th grade. I started filling out little cards to mail back for more info.

Last night I sent emails to another 40 colleges he might be interested in.

I remember when Penni did this - and also when the guy on the Sopranoes did it with his daughter. Now it's me. *Sigh.*

I keep telling him we live less than two miles from George Mason and he can live here and go there so cheap he won't have to take out student loans but he wants something more glamourous than what's in his back yard, naturally.
