Hi again jtj,

Well I wish Veeco well. I cut my teeth on an old 5" diffusion-pumped ion mill of theirs. However the latest ion mill we bought from them is pathetic. I hope Commonwealth or Ion Tech injects some robustness in their control software!!! If the information flows in the other direction they're doomed <g>.

AND the ion mill isn't HELX-pumped!! Sin of all sins <gg>.
