Re: military use for HELX coolers I think most missiles use Stirling coolers for their IR sensors, or at least they used to. I don't think Stirling (or pulse tube) coolers are something HELX is putting much effort into. I know that they made some small GM coolers (the type used for cryopumps) for the military a while back. I don't know what they made for Raytheon, however. I guess it boils down to no military apps as far as I know at the present time. I think this is a mainly a silicon cycle company <G>. JF
