From Yahoo: MCLD missed by 2 cents on pro forma by: swingtrader511 Long-Term Sentiment: Hold 11/14/01 10:12 pm Msg: 33321 of 33345 Shorts prove once again unable to perform simple mathematics. Mean estimates on a pro forma basis were for -$0.32/share. MCLD came in at an estimated -$0.34/share based on the calculation using the release of an additional 37.8mil shares this Q, compared to an already outstanding 554mil...or 592mil total. Take out the charges for inventory, goodwill and one-time write-downs and you come up w/ -$201mil divided by 592 = -$0.34/share.
