FINAL OT POST:

Several people have asked me for the cites on the fax laws I mentioned earlier.

Here they are.

Federal law, which makes sending even one unsolicited advertisement fax an offense which can be sued on in your state court and provides a minimum penalty of $500: 47 USC Sec. 227(b)(1)(C) and (b)(3).

If in Washington state, RCW 80.36.540 and 80.36.855.

Good luck, and good hunting.

Now, back to humor. Though on second thought, the idea of everybody on SI nailing these guys for $500 damages each is pretty funny!
