Wanna: Imagine how many flames you'd get if you had suggested nForce instabilities and overly high cost structure about 4 months ago.

I did exactly that. [and oddly enough, I wasn't flamed for it at all].

Although NVIDIA is an impressive company, to expect them to pull off a stable chipset on their first go is… well… unrealistic.

That said, this is actually the first I've heard of problems with nForce boards… but then I haven't read more than a couple reviews (major sites only, which is not necessarily indicative of review quality).
