Grasshopper, Sitting down? I have an idea. I made this one up myself;
no Lemming Masters, just me, my brain, and the resultant conversation.
Wait, don't skip to the next thread. Hear me out, okay?
There's a bill before Congress (your neighborhood... your buddies),
that proposes allowing individuals to invest a portion of their Social
Security in the market. I gotta believe it will pass, so when the whole
SocSec. thing sinks, it can be blamed on the populace for investing
with immodest stupidity. Now we ain't gonna be allowed to buy just any
old Microsoft. No, because they have a sworn duty to protect us, there
will qualifications on how we invest. NASDAQ 100, S&P 500 stocks only.
So the place to weight one's portfolio would be these particular issues.
Okay. I'm done. And, uh, whatcha think? Regards, TBG Paul |
