Tom, You have resumed extremely well why SI could die or at least why many posters and lurkers are losing interest.
SI was meant to be a weapon for small investors against the major players on Wall Street. Through SI and all the threads, many investors managed to get information on companies, wether to buy or to sell stocks, and until 2000, many made good money.
You find today too many discussions on politics and SI is drifting away from its original goal.IMHO.
