Personal views on the financial viability of message boards: 1. If you have a product or service that is in demand, you can make a profit in providing same. The difference between profit and loss lies in the business plan and management. 2. NOTHING is accomplished in the name of altruism. Rational self-interest is the motive force that fuels industry. Even those who give to charity do so in the name of rational self-interest. They gain a sense of fulfillment, increased stature in the community, tax breaks, etc. Anyone who refuses to admit this is only fooling themselves. My $0.02 worth .... greg
