My guess is that you and I are thinking of the same car. The Honda EV+? Apparently Honda isn't making them anymore and is recalling them and cancelling leases. No idea why. hondaev.org I need to spend some time digging around today. I didn't realize so many more of these things were becoming available. We continue to talk about adding a car to our own "fleet" or making my beloved Mustang street legal and using it (I'm reluctant because of the gravel roads) because my truck is just not well-suited to "running around". It's a pain to park and often it's an ordeal to convert it from work use to more general use. Always full of tools, extra fuel, parts, etc. Maybe the EV's are finally getting to where they'd be acceptable, price-wise. Now if only the cost of solar panels would come down. Last I checked, the best I could do was about $4.25 per watt. Ridiculous. Get them below $2.00 per watt and I've got a lot of roofs that'll get covered with them.
