Weird, I just talked to my brother in law today... He got a new Toyota....Gas-Electric Car...He says it gets 54 mph... highway...Has an electric engine and 1.5 liter? engine side by side under the hood...(he says it self charges as you drive it) (about the same size as a corolla)...he says it's like a glorified golf cart when you start it up...(there are no gears..it's like driving a boat ..'hit it!').... It tops out about 80 mph..? Fills up the tank for 8-9 dollars. He loves it so far...Has only had it a couple weeks.
