Hmmm.... Another record low.

The more I observe, though, the more comfortable I am that no matter what the posting volume, SI is likely to continue to exist for the internet equivalent of eternity. Or maybe I'm reading too much into Busby's recent comments about changes made on the site, which, to me, made it seem the company is still interested in spending money here.

Is it possible it's an actual profit center for them? Nah. Can't be. The person who has admitted to us that he alone understands business has decreed that a message board can't make a profit.

But I'm sure they're not exactly giving away that ScottTrade ad on the home page.

If they're making money with it, it'll never die. I just find it hard to believe they're making money, but I'd finder it even harder to believe they're spending money on the site if it loses money for them.
