but that won't change the fact of a negative number on the single bottom line. Yeah, but they can feel good about losing money if they can help the world while burning dough <g>. One of the main reasons to buy mainstream solar is the do-gooder aspect. (The folks who don't want the godless power companies to know their business have less altruistic reasons <g>). Economically it has never made sense except for maybe water heating, and isolated small uses. Will, I couldn't get the "philanthropy" link to work. So Rolltronics was spun off from HP in '98. I guess I missed (or forgot) that... JF
