your "adjusting" the prediction on the fly was a bit slick

We're thinking along different lines but I'll offer this fwiw. A slick way of adjusting predictions on the fly was recently brought to my attention. It updates the prediction based on current information. A simple reiteration ... it's value is priceless.

What is the long-term usefulness of a model that simply adjusts to the real results all the time?
