The first message has lots of not yet, kinda, sorta, maybe etc. More interesting in light of MM's reiteration theory for "improved predictions".

Maybe SI should start some prediction contests - everyone loves stockpicking and Fed predicting contests; they could do a Top Five Sectors for 2002 list, market index predictions, etc.

Doing that on a thread clutters the place up with hundreds of contest entry posts. And I am much too lazy to keep track of them.

Listening to the professional analyst buzz on the markets, there is less consensus now on what will happen in 2002 than I can remember in the past five years.
