Dale Baker: No body gets it exactly right at least not very often. Back in the eighties, I developed a trading strategy of working at identifying index turns and trends and at the same time identifying stocks that are likely to move with the market and ideally stocks that are likely to lead the market in terms of magnitude. I continue to work at improving my ability to profit from that strategy to date. During the process of working at trying to improve my ability, I came to realize that for intermediate and longer-term trend turns close is more than good enough!
