Helix Technology Announces Intention to File Follow-on Public Offering MANSFIELD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 21, 2002--Helix Technology Corporation (Nasdaq: HELX - news) today announced that Helix intends to file this week a registration statement for a proposed offering of 3,000,000 shares of its common stock (excluding shares subject to any underwriters' over-allotment option). Net proceeds to Helix from the proposed offering would be used for general corporate purposes. A registration statement relating to these securities has not yet been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. These securities, if registered, may not be sold nor may offers be accepted prior to the time the proposed registration statement becomes effective.
