If he caught her in the act or about to commit the act & could not in other way prevent it, yes I would say he would be justified in killing her to protect the children. I doubt any jury would sentence him to prison if the evidence of her plan was undeniable.

I heard on the news last night that Andrea had a lifetime history of psychological problems. How could her husband neglect to protect his children when he was aware of that fact?
