khacha--Rumors go around the Street day by day. The accounting worries have been applied to many companies. If someone rumors GE or TYC have accounting problems. I may say a may-be. But if saying CHKP does, too, I may disagree. How to treat with the business between subdivisions have rules. Companies like GE have many subdivisions and plants. The business between those subdivisions or plants may be recorded as revenues and reported to the CFO. So the inside revenues used to be watered, but not for a company with the single subdivision . Net income is a number that is almost unable to be double accounted. As we all knew that CHKP has $1 billion cash in hands. "Cash is the king!" That's why a company's stock price in most cases plus several times high prices than the real cash number. Some companies are losing money but being able to maintain positive cash flow. The Street used to boost the stocks of those companies. I don't see Sofaware have caused accounting problems. CHKP so far only carries $6+ billion market cap although it holds $1+ billion in cash. Where is the values? It's here, right here in CHKP!
