i'm a bit confused....is it the 13 week moving average or the 13 day moving average that you use? the terms seem to be used interchangeably...and while i'm asking....do you look at the simple or the exponential moving average? thanks in advance and also let me thank you for your time and efforts on si.... SS: The 13 week price high is used in the 13's scanning process... The 13 day MA is used in the tracking of these stocks... The 13 week MA is not used... The name of the thread should have referred the 13 week price high... Sorry for the confusion but the name of the thread is familiar to many people, so for better or worse it lives on... : > Jim
