Anybody have any thoughts on Commodity trading Advisor's? (CTA's) As an asset they have little correlation to the market. I've placed some money with a Trend following CTA that bases his trades on a strictly proprietary technical program and he trades contracts on seventy markets covering interest rates, indexes, hard and soft commodities and currencies. His sharpe ratio is much higher than any of my traditional managers.
