In the "things ain't worth what they used to be worth anymore" vein, seat prices at the CBOE (Chicago board options exchange) averaged $350k over the past year, but on Monday the floor dropped out, so to speak, as 3 seats went for a whopping $200k..... When will something similar hit housing, if ever? William: This almost recession didn't hit the average worker the same way as other recessions... The unemployment rates were under 6% and the interest rates were very low... As such, housing was strong... We didn't have runaway housing inflation as was experienced in the 80's... So, there wasn't any pricing bubble to burst... Unless we see rising interest rates and or rising unemployment the housing market should remain relatively strong... As for CBOE seats, Hmmmmmm... : > Jim
