I understand, but I still would think that it would be easier for shorts to win if they picked on a stock that was so clearly overvalued. I mean everybody seems to be talking about valuation lately.

Shorts usually do better DD than longs, but I still could have thought of hundreds of better stocks to short.

The short position in ACF was really interesting earlier this year. It was also a very low PE stock that was shorted from about $30 to $20 and then it went back to $45 with no change in any fundamentals.

So, if it's worth $40 now, why did they pick on it to short when it was $30. I guess because they could is as good as reason as any.
