Jim, story in the WSJ today about CC and how it's finance segment has provided over 1/2 of pre-tax income over the past 2 years....(50.4% on pre-tax earnings of $259.4 million) Yikes, another GE in the making! As you know, I have traded this one long and short to nice gains over the past year or so, and this is the first time that CC has made these earnings visible. I still say the American consumer is drunk on credit, to the point of no return.... And those AMAT numbers look like sh*t...Who cares what their book to bill is, that can change, fast... A good short pick, Imo...
